YMCA Healthy Kids Day

Doing the right thing to promote health and wellbeing for area youth, members of the S&T Bank team recently volunteered at two individual YMCA Healthy Kids Day events in Plum and Indiana, PA. Healthy Kids Day is the YMCA’s annual national initiative that offers free community events to promote physical activity and healthy habits for kids and families before summer. Hundreds of locations nationwide feature games, healthy snacks and workshops to encourage summer wellness.

Inclusive Banking Conference

Members of the S&T Bank team recently attended the Pennsylvania (PA) Bankers Association Inclusive Banking Conference. S&T’s Director of Inclusion Relationship Development, Genevieve Oduor, had the opportunity speak on a panel regarding connecting employee engagement to business results. Her talk included information from colleagues in attendance who shared their experiences as employee resource group leaders at the Bank. Colleagues reported the conference was informative, interactive and engaging with great speakers sharing various topics around workplace culture.

Supporting Military Families
S&T received a 2025 American Bankers Association (ABA) Foundation Community Commitment Award in the Supporting Military Families category. We maintain our steadfast commitment to Veterans, military members and their families as a critical component of our people-forward banking purpose.
Athena Leadership Award
S&T Training and Development Manager, Felicia Daniel, was chosen as the Indiana County Young Athena Leadership Award winner. This recognition honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to empower women to reach their full potential.
Inclusive Leadership Award
Genevieve Oduor, Director of inclusion Relationship Development, was named the Pennsylvania Bankers Association 2025 Inclusive Leadership Award winner. This award recognizes her leadership and commitment to advancing and celebrating inclusivity within S&T and across the banking industry.

Access and Opportunity Summit

S&T Bank hosted the first of its kind summit, with the aim of bringing community leaders together with S&T leaders for dialogue to delve into how we can create a more inclusive financial system. The theme of the summit was building bridges to financial inclusion. Through open discussion and collaboration, we believe we can develop tailored financial products and services that truly resonate with the needs of the communities we serve. Fostering ongoing conversations and strengthening these vital partnerships is the key to building bridges to financial success and promoting lasting community impact.

Women in Business Conference

S&T team members from various regions of our Pennsylvania footprint attended the 2026 PA Chamber Women in Business Conference at the Lancaster Marriot. The Bank was a sponsor of the event that featured U.S. Soccer Legend and FOX Sports Analyst Carli Lloyd. The day was designed to be memorable and impactful for attendees while allowing for meaningful connections, thoughtful discussions and powerful insights reflective of the leadership and strength of businesswomen throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that aim to foster an inclusive workplace. The purpose of ERGs at S&T Bank is to create an inclusive workplace aligned with Our Shared Future values of Make People Our Purpose and Value Every Voice by creating spaces for employees who may share common interests. ERGs create spaces for employees to gather, learn, support, empower and grow, therefore fostering a sense of belonging, and driving innovation. All employees are welcome to join and participate in ERGs. Participation in ERGs can help members build leadership skills, enhance career development and provide insights to the bank.

Stars & Stripes is comprised of a group of people who have a common interest in supporting active service members and Veterans. This is a group driven by employees that provide support in community events, outreach, resources and mentoring opportunities.

Women Bankers Employee Network works to establish a space where employees can share, network, and foster relationships that inspire women to reach their goals and aspirations. This group of women and male allies will offer professional development, leadership opportunities and provide education and guidance for career advancement within S&T Bank for women in banking.

S&T Pride works to assist the Bank in promoting a culture of inclusiveness that supports LGBTQ+ colleagues and their allies through education, provision of resources and the fostering of general awareness about the issues and needs of this community.
Multi-Cultural Employee Network

The Multi-Cultural employee network exists to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, supportive and empowered community for employees of all backgrounds where all employees feel seen, celebrated and valued for their unique cultural backgrounds. It provides an opportunity for employees to share and foster awareness of the communities represented at S&T Bank.
Caregivers Employee Network
Work-Life Balance
The Caregivers Employee Network ERG is building a community to offer support, share resources and experiences with other employees who are also balancing a career with caregiving responsibilities for children, aging parents, and incapacitated loved ones. Additionally, the Caregivers ERG will work to identify suggestions and influence policies and practices at S&T to continue to be an employer of choice for all Caregivers.
AIM Young Professionals Employee Network
Empowerment and Growth
The Young Professionals ERG AIMs (Accelerate, Inspire and Meaning) to empower young professionals to grow personally and professionally through networking and skill building.
