S&T Bank Donates $10,000 to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc.

INDIANA, Pa. May 7, 2025 – S&T Bank, the wholly owned subsidiary of S&T Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ, STBA), recently donated $10,000 to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. (PAWW), an independent, statewide non-profit organization providing support to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Veterans in crisis and their families.

During the 2024-2025 Steelers football season, as part of their partnership with iHeartRadio, S&T pledged $300 to PAWW for every Steelers takeaway that occurred in a game as announced during the postgame broadcasts.

President of Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., Helen Sajer, expressed her gratitude for the Bank’s support stating, “We are receiving requests for more help than ever before. We spend on average $30,000 every week to help Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, their families and Veterans in need with financial emergencies. This check is so important to us. We appreciate S&T Bank and iHeartMedia for their partnership in the fundraising event.”

PAWW relies on volunteers and sponsored events across the state to help fund and accomplish their mission to provide emergency financial assistance to Veterans to help pay for housing costs, utility bills, transportation and other vital services. PAWW is not affiliated with any other national Wounded Warrior organizations and is an all-volunteer staff that relies on the generosity of donations of time and resources to serve others.

S&T Bank Chief Credit Officer, Jim Michie, serves as the Bank’s executive sponsor of their Stars and Stripes Employee Resource Group (ERG) which is comprised of employees focused on supporting active and Veteran U.S. service members and their families. Pennsylvania is home to the fourth largest number of Veterans in the country and Michie, also a U.S. Military Veteran, expressed his appreciation of the donation saying, “S&T continues to make people our purpose by supporting organizations that work to uplift community members in need, and this is a tangible example of how S&T is supporting Veterans across our state.”
