Helping children together.
During August, S&T pledged to donate $1005 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for every Smart Start Banking account opened. With your help, we were able to donate $20,000! S&T Bank President, Dave Antolik, joined WDVE to talk about the team effort.

Tech Donations
After School Program
S&T recently donated to Indiana’s Chevy Case Community Center to help purchase new laptops for the center’s after-school program. The Center’s Mission is to cultivate, nurture and sustain a peaceful and inclusive culture that brings community together with positivity, diversity, inclusion, education, nutrition and love.
Supporting the Arts
Learning Through Music
S&T Bank recently presented a check to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as sponsors of their Schooltime program. This is a free program for children in grades PreK through 12, that introduces students to the orchestra, instruments and creative process.
Caring for Others
Big Brothers Big Sisters
S&T Bank recently made a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region. The organization strives to change the lives of children ages 6-18 who are facing adversity. Their network of volunteers, donors and supporters comes from all walks of life, all backgrounds and all corners of the country.

Supporting Treatment & Education
S&T Bank recently presented a donation to Hoffman Homes for Youth. Hoffman Homes is a non-profit organization that provides both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health treatment, educational services and other county-funded residential-based services to youth, young adults and their families across the commonwealth.
Getting it done
Cleaning Today for a Better Tomorrow
Rolling up our sleeves for the environment! S&T team members recently worked with the Rails to Trails organization in Punxsutawney, PA to clean up a cluttered portion of an area trail. This national conservancy works to reimagine public spaces to create safe areas for everyone to walk, bike and be active outdoors.
Educating Others
Supporting Spanish Radio
S&T team members recently provided a check to the Spanish American Civic Association (SACA) to support their radio station. Bank employees also plan to provide financial literacy information to the Spanish community in Lancaster over the airways soon!
Helping Families
Providing Warm Meals
Members of the S&T team recently volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH) in Wilmington, DE. Employees prepared and served meals for 80 people currently staying at the RMDH while their children receive treatment.
Putting People First
Supporting Health Equity
S&T Bank presented Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) with a monetary donation to support their work to provide healthcare services in the Chester County region. CVIM provides free, high-quality care to uninsured working people with lower income levels in order to help them live healthier lives.
Constructing the Future
Habitat for Humanity
S&T employees recently spent a very fulfilling day completing on-site construction work with York Habitat for Humanity. The organization’s mission is to build safe, affordable and decent housing for low-income, well qualified families in the county.
Junior Achievement
Real World Experience
S&T team members recently volunteered at Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania’s Biztown. This activity is a day-long visit to a simulated town where elementary students operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks and vote for a mayor!
Giving Back
Sponsorships With Meaning
S&T Bank is this year’s presenting sponsor of the Community Warehouse Project’s annual Gala. This project is a service organization that gathers and then redistributes donated furniture and household items to those in need.
Educating Our Youth
Offering Financial Literacy to All
S&T team members recently brought their passion for teaching responsible money management to elementary students at a Center City school. Vista.Today documented the experience for students and staff who discussed the importance of managing personal finances for future success.

Working With the United Way
This year’s Pancake and Sausage Day raised nearly $8,500 for the Indiana County United Way campaign. Bank employees supported this annual fundraiser that helps support The United Way’s goal of creating lasting change for individuals to benefit the entire community.
Breast Cancer Awareness
Making a Difference
A group of Bank employees recently volunteered at the Indiana, PA Bras for a Cause event organized by the Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Club. Proceeds benefit Birdie’s Closet at IMRC and the club’s scholarship fund. BPW participates in various charitable and community events every year.

S&T employees recently volunteered at the United Way of Southwestern PA’s Annual Day of Giving. The organization works every day to help others by meeting basic needs, helping individuals build financial stability and assisting others to achieve success in education and life.
Donating for Adoptions
Animal Rescue Efforts
Dillworthtown Crossing’s S&T team recently donated $1,000 to Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue. Greenmore is a non-profit, no kill, volunteer staffed rescue located in Southern Chester County. Established in 2010, the rescue provides all needed resources until all animals are successfully adopted.
It’s a Family Affair
Offering Support
S&T employees along with their family members, recently volunteered at the March of Dimes Military Baby Shower. The event is designed to help expectant families in our armed forces by providing them with assistance including free health information and other useful services while they may be stationed away from close family and friends.
Encouraging Entrepreneurship
Giving to Grow Businesses
S&T recently donated to downtown Indiana-based Technology and Entrepreneurship Center (TEC). TEC provides education and support for startups by offering low-cost workshops, virtual reality business experiences, rental facilities and more.
Community Programs

Recently, S&T was recognized for a successful United Way campaign and the Bank also presented the agency with an educational tax credit for community-based programs.

Promoting Financial Literacy
Employees recently volunteered at the Junior Achievement Biztown facility in Bridgeville, PA. During the event, students had the opportunity to learn how individuals and businesses operate successfully in a community. Junior Achievement works to prepare students for a brighter financial future.
INVIGORATING THE REGION
S&T Supports Efforts of Penn State Dubois
S&T recently donated money to help purchase training, classes, materials and more for the Ideal Lab located on campus. The gift supports the university’s “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence” campaign.
Planting with Purpose
S&T Participates in Plant a Tree
Over 1,000 trees were recently planted as part of the Plant a Tree at Flight 93 event in Shanksville, PA. For a decade, the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, the National Parks Service and the National Park Foundation have worked on this reforestation project that is nearing 150,000 native trees planted at the Flight 93 National Memorial.

Supporting Student Success
Helping Students Rebuild Lives
On behalf of S&T Bank, employees Pam Price and Genevieve Odour,
recently presented a $2,500 donation to The Trade Institute of
Pittsburgh (TIP). For over ten years, TIP has worked to graduate
men and women into family-sustaining jobs with the area’s prominent
employers while simultaneously helping to rebuild communities.
Funding Restoration
West Shore Theatre
Andrea Splain, commercial business banker with S&T, recently assisted in the financing of the revitalization of The West Shore Theatre in New Cumberland, PA. Late Mayor, Doug Morrow, began the project to restore this historic building and wanted future generations to be able to enjoy this iconic community theatre.

Charitable Support
Recently, S&T partnered with Comfort Cases which provides children with backpacks containing items such as pajamas, a blanket, and a stuffed animal to take with them as they make the challenging transition into foster care. We loaded the Comfort Case truck with about 700 packed backpacks and a gave the organization a donation of $6,080! Click below to learn more about Comfort Cases.
