Types of Information Collected by S&T Bank

As financial service professionals, we respect the privacy of our customers and are absolutely committed to protecting their confidential information, whether on the web or not. This web site is primarily intended for the use of adults. No children under the age of 13 should be providing any information to S&T Bank without written authorization from their parents or legal guardian.

If you are simply browsing around our web site or downloading some of our pages, we collect a minimal amount of anonymous information about your visit to the web site. If You Choose to Send an email or Request a Bank Service…

Our web site does not require you to disclose any personally identifiable information. If you choose to contact S&T Bank, personally identifiable information from you will be collected to respond to your communication or to meet your service request. If you request some type of service from the Bank (i.e., an online account application), personal information will be required in order to process your request and to determine your eligibility for that service. The information requested may include items such as your employer’s name and telephone number, your social security number, the number of years you have resided at your current address, your driver’s license number and state, and your mother’s maiden name. This information is what would typically be required for any requested service of the Bank, and will be used to determine eligibility for the service and to provide security/privacy to you if the service is provided by the Bank (i.e., passwords to accounts).

If information needs to be given to a third party (i.e., for an S&T Bank Visa card application) it will be used only to process the service requested. S&T insists that all third parties associated with the Bank abide by our privacy policy.
