We were just informed that the Small Business Administration (SBA) has reopened the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). At this time, we are focused on processing all previously submitted applications from our existing business customers as quickly as possible. While we are not currently accepting new applications, please continue to visit us here for new updates.
ALERT - SBA PPP Scam Awareness
Please be advised that there are potential scammers that may try to contact you or your business about the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The SBA will NOT contact you to ask any questions regarding your application submission, they will ONLY contact the bank for answers. All correspondence regarding the status of your PPP application will come from an S&T Banker or an email from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scammers are more aggressive with their tactics to get you to share any personal or business information with them. Be on the lookout for the following:
Scammers are now stealing SBA logos and making their emails and other communications look as close to real as possible. Theses emails are attacks to steal your information, get access to bank accounts, or to install ransomware or malware on your computer.
In emails that state they are SBA approved, don’t assume it’s legitimate – verify and cross reference any information you receive.
For any type of funding, whether it’s the SBA PPP or EIDL, be aware that you won’t have to make a payment upfront.
