Rich works closely with our clients to help them identify challenges and opportunities related to their unique circumstances. He focuses his team on building flexible plans that meet or exceed each client’s expectations, ensuring the clients understand the strategies employed.
Rich has spent most of his career working with individuals to successfully address issues in the areas of charitable gift, estate, tax, retirement, business, investment, and long-term care planning. Over the past 25 years, he has worked as a wealth management advisor for TIAA-CREF, Hunters Associates, Bill Few Associates, and The Copeland Companies. Rich earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Lafayette College and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, concentrating in estate planning and taxes. Following his passion for philanthropy, he earned the designation of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® from The American College and was a founding member and former president of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council.
Currently, he serves on the board of the William E. Anderson Library of Penn Hills. He has served on the boards of The Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council, Life’sWork of Western Pennsylvania, Rodef Shalom Congregation, Community Auto, The Quality Community Project of Penn Hills, and the Crescent Hills Park Committee.
